Skilled Migration 5 visas
Distinguished Talent Visa
A permanent visa for individuals with an internationally recognized record of exceptional achievement in their profession, sport, arts, or academia.
Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional)
Allows holders of eligible regional provisional visas to become permanent residents of Australia after meeting regional living and working requirements.
Skilled Independent Visa
A points-tested permanent visa for skilled workers who are not sponsored by an employer, state, or family member. Allows qualified professionals to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia.
Skilled Nominated Visa
A points-tested permanent visa for skilled workers nominated by an Australian state or territory government. Nomination provides additional points toward the migration points test.
Skilled Work Regional (Provisional)
A points-tested provisional visa for skilled workers nominated by a state/territory government or sponsored by an eligible relative in regional Australia. Requires living and working in regional areas.
Family Visas 5 visas
Parent Visa
Allows parents of Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible NZ citizens to migrate permanently to Australia. Must meet the Balance of Family Test.
Contributory Parent Visa
Allows parents to migrate to Australia permanently with significantly shorter processing times than the standard parent visa. Higher government charge applies.
Child Visa
Allows a child outside Australia to migrate permanently to live with their Australian citizen/PR parent.
Partner Visa (Temporary & Permanent)
Allows the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia. Subclass 309 is temporary, followed by permanent Subclass 100.
